Mr. Maughan joined Bain Capital in 2014. He is a Partner in the Private Credit Group and Head of Bain Capital Credit’s European Middle Market efforts based in Bain Capital's London office. Previously, Mr. Maughan was a Managing Director at J.P. Morgan responsible for leading the European team of J.P. Morgan Mezzanine, part of the Global Special Opportunities Group.

Summary of Risk Factors

Bain Capital Private Credit (“BCPC”) is a non-exchange traded business development company (“BDC”) that expects to invest at least 80% of its total assets (net assets plus borrowings for investment purposes) in private credit investments (bonds and other credit instruments that are issued in private offerings or issued by private companies). This investment involves a high degree of risk. You should purchase these securities only if you can afford the complete loss of your investment.
