EXPERIENCE

 Mr. Kataria joined Bain Capital in 2020 as a Vice President and Global Head of Technology for Capital Markets, which spans across Bain Capital’s Credit, Special Situations, Public Equity and Partnership Strategies businesses. Prior to joining Bain Capital, he served as the Global Head of IT for Securitized Markets Trading and as Head of Data for Spread Products at Citigroup’s Investment Bank. Earlier in his career, he worked as a Senior Software Developer at Merrill Lynch.

EDUCATION

Mr. Kataria received a Masters in Computer Science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, and holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter.

Summary of Risk Factors

Bain Capital Private Credit (“BCPC”) is a non-exchange traded business development company (“BDC”) that expects to invest at least 80% of its total assets (net assets plus borrowings for investment purposes) in private credit investments (bonds and other credit instruments that are issued in private offerings or issued by private companies).
