EXPERIENCE

Mr. Schiffmann joined Bain Capital Credit in 2022. He is a Managing Director and Head Structurer in the Liquid and Structured Credit team, and is based in Bain Capital’s New York office. Additionally, Mr. Schiffmann focuses on structuring new issue CLOs in the US and Europe.

Prior to joining Bain Capital, Mr. Schiffmann spent the previous 10 years working at Jefferies, most recently as a Senior Vice President on the CLO Structuring and Trading Desk, and worked at Lehman Brothers before that.
 

EDUCATION

Mr. Schiffmann received an MSc. in Engineering from INP-ENSEEIHT, Toulouse, France, an M.A. in International Economics and Finance from Brandeis University, Waltham, MA.

Summary of Risk Factors

Bain Capital Private Credit (“BCPC”) is a non-exchange traded business development company (“BDC”) that expects to invest at least 80% of its total assets (net assets plus borrowings for investment purposes) in private credit investments (bonds and other credit instruments that are issued in private offerings or issued by private companies).
